HEALTH chiefs have invited residents to the first annual general meeting of Blackburn and Darwen Clinical Commissioning Group.
The meeting is at Blackburn Central Library on Thursday, September 18, from 6pm to 8pm and is the first since the organisation took control of planning and buying health services for the area in 2013.
Those who attend will be able to meet governing body members and see presentations reviewing the work of the CCG in the last year and its plans for the future.
Chairman Joe Slater said: “We are delighted to be staging our first AGM as an organisation.
“We look forward to sharing with the public the work we have done over the course of the last year and our plans which we believe will help improve health and wellbeing in our area.”
