A MOTHER threw her stiletto heel shoes at a bouncer and hit another staff member with her handbag while being thrown out of a bar for an alleged sex session, a court heard.

Drunk Angelina Lloyd, 38, also punched a barmaid in the face in the trouble at Sugar House on Keighley Road, Colne.

She calmly walked off, but was arrested at home and denied the violence, Burnley magistrates heard.

Lloyd, of Duke Street, Colne, admitted three counts of assault by beating, against Alex Jenkins, Michelle Brienza and Josephine Wood, on July 25.

She was fined £65, with £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge. The bench told her it was an isolated incident and she had shown remorse.

Dominic Howe, prosecuting, told the court that Lloyd was seen engaging in sexual activity with a man in the nightclub, and both were asked to leave. The defendant took exception and became abusive and aggressive.

She swung her handbag at a club worker and punched her in the chest. Lloyd continued to be abusive, approached a bar worker and punched her on the forehead.

The defendant then hit Alex Jenkins with one of her high-heeled shoes.

Mr Howe said: “She threw both her stilettos at him. One missed, the other hit him on the head.

“Fortunately, nobody was injured.”

Daniel Frazer, defending Lloyd, said that she pleaded guilty at the first opportunity.

Passions had been running high at the time, but when she had time to calm down she had thought long and hard and acknowledged that her behaviour was unacceptable.

Lloyd disputed why she was ejected. Mr Frazer said: “She says she was doing nothing untoward with this gentleman.

“It was misconstrued. She was remonstrating and asking why she was being ejected from the club.”

The solicitor said during the altercation, the defendant, who had previously suffered domestic violence, was pushed rather hard by a male staff member, causing her to fall to the floor.

This brought back bad memories.

In her view, she had been attacked again by a male and she reacted by throwing her shoes at him.

Mr Frazer said: “She apologises to all three people who have been subjected to this incident.”
