A CYCLIST has been airlifted to hospital after a collision with a van.
The man suffered head injuries in the incident in Long Hey Lane, Hoddlesden, at midday today.
The road was shut for around two-and-a-half hours while paramedics treated the cyclist and police investigated.
Inspector Andy Carter said the man was taken to Royal Preston Hospital by air ambulance.
