AFC Darwen urge locals to cheers them on
BOSSES at AFC Darwen are urging the town to cheer them on as they prepare for four consecutive home games.
The North West Counties First Division side take on Barnton this Saturday, with a 3pm kick-off, then play Holker Old Boys on Wednesday, August 20, at 7.45pm.
That is followed by Litherland REMYCA and Widnes on the following two Saturdays, both at 3pm.
Through the club’s account on Twitter, a club spokesman said: “We have four home games on the trot, we want four wins, you can help us with your support. Everyone is welcomed at the WEC Group Anchor Ground.”
