Longshaw Nursery in Blackburn was pleasantly surprised after its efforts to raise some money to provide the children with rabbits and hutches raised £1.400.

With sterling work from Tony Yates, of Pets at Home, Blackburn, the nursery became proud owners of five rabbits and two large hutches and a run.

The remainder of the money went towards the improvement of the outdoor area for babies.
