AN East Lancs renewable energy firm Solarlec has struck up a partnership with global electrical giants LG.

Solarlec, based at Caroline Court in Billington Road Industrial Estate, Burnley, has been confirmed as one of LG’s approved suppliers for its newest solar panel, the Mono Neon module.

Senior executives from LG’s European Business Group, including vice-presidents Michael Harre and Chang Suk Chung, visited Burnley to announce the link-up.

Ged Rowbottom, director at Solarlec, said: “To have one vice president visit us is fantastic, but for two VPs and an entire delegation of senior management to pay us a visit shows LG's commitment to both Solarlec and our customers. The neon module is at the cutting edge of global solar technology so we're truly honoured to be working alongside LG to bring the world's premium solar panels to our customers.”
