TWO people were taken to hospital after a crash on the M65.
The air ambulance was called to the motorway following an incident involving two vehicles at around 6pm yesterday.
It happened between Junction three for Blackburn West and Wheelton, and Junction four for Darwen and Blackburn South.
The eastbound side was closed and the air ambulance landed in an adjacent field. An ambulance spokeswoman described the pair as 'walking wounded' and said the air ambulance was called due to the location.
They were taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital with minor injuries.
