A 38-YEAR-OLD arrested for breaching bail conditions was found with cannabis and a knife.
Blackburn magistrates heard Shani Tierney was on bail for theft from a town centre shop which was prompted by his drug problems.
Jonathan Taylor, defending, said: “He is not getting any younger and he realises that he needs to address his problems.
Tierney, of Shear Brow, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to theft of boots and a rucksack worth £68 from Sports Direct, possession of cannabis and a knife.
He was made subject to community supervision for a year with a six months drug rehabilitation order and has to pay £145 costs.
