Men injured in mystery Blackburn ‘fight’
TWO men were receiving treatment last night following a ‘fight’ in Blackburn.
Police were called to Heys Close in the Livesey area of the town around 5pm yesterday following reports the men had suffered injuries.
Detectives have launched an investigation to try to find out how the men came by their injuries, which were not thought to be life-threatening.
A flat on the third storey of a building in Fowler Height Close was cordoned off by police. Three police cars were also positioned outside a property in Heys Close, just round the corner.
It is understood the air ambulance was sent out to take one of the patients to hospital.
Lorna Towers, 47, of Fowler Height Close said: “I was at work when it happened and I got a call off my son telling me that the police were in the street.
“I was completely shocked because this sort of thing just does not happen round here.
