AROUND 1,000 people braved the extra boggy conditions of the hugely successful No Ego Mud Challenge this weekend.
The No Ego Challenge is a 10k assault course with 44 gruelling obstacles.
Lancashire Telegraph assistant picture editor, Lisa Woodhouse, and her brother Mark Woodhouse took part in the event with no previous ‘mudstacle’ experience.
Through team work, endurance and sheer determination they completed the course at Leisure Lakes, Tarleton, along with hundreds of competitors from across Lancashire and beyond.
Pete Murray, marketing manager for the event, said: “We have received some really good feedback already from the event.
“This is the second No Ego Challenge event at Preston and we are always progressing and changing the course to make it bigger and better than the last one.”
Details of the next challenge will be announced soon at www.noegochallenge.com
