DOZENS of ‘nerds’ took part in a two-day event at the Batcave gaming shop, in Blackburn, over the weekend, in aid of the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
Owner Nas Rasool said the shop was packed for the annual ‘Unholy Nerd Fest’, with more than 100 people taking part in Magic and Warhammer games on Saturday alone.
He added yesterday: “We are well on our way to raising £300. It’s been really hectic, but I’m quite chuffed with how it’s gone.”
He also thanked the East Lancashire War Games Association for donating £46.
