Sounds like the driver was illegal not the car. If the car is taxed, insured and MoT`d it has a right to be on the M65.

dick and what rights are these? knob head had no licence so therefore any options regarding tax mot insurance are invalidated..before commenting on these issues try doing the test first and then gain a knowledge into the laws surrounding the legal sides of driving.

I am pointing out the fact that the driver had no licence and the title should read ILLEGAL DRIVER CAUGHT ON M65. Besides the fact it nullifies the insurance of the car at the time of the offence. Assuming the car is taxed, mot`d and insured then that car is allowed to be parked or driven on a highway by a licenced driver. So, it`s not the car thats illegal here it`s the driver which then in turn, makes the car illegal. Got it dickhunter!

If the driver does not have a licence he cannot be insured, unless he is being supervised by a suitably qualified driver which the story doesn't mention.
