OFFICERS want to speak with this man in connection with the theft of a mobile phone from a DIY store.
The phone was taken when a customer left it on top of a self-service counter at B&Q, on the Nova Scotia Retail Park, Blackburn, on March 28 around 10.35am.
Police believe the man in the CCTV image, who was with a woman, could have vital information about the theft.
PC Jason Manning, from the planned response team, said: “The man who picked up the phone looked around at staff to make sure he hadn't been seen and then placed it in his pocket before walking out.
“He even had the gall to ask staff for assistance with his transaction after he had pocketed the item.”
Anybody with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
