A 20-YEAR-old man lashed out at a pub landlord after being told to leave the venue.
Blackburn magistrates heard Oliver Richard Brindle damaged the publican’s glasses in the incident.
And when he was eventually ejected he kicked out at the glass window of a nearby delicatessen causing £500 of damage.
Brindle, of Bonsall Street, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to assaulting Ian Lomax and damaging a window belonging to Alison Thompson. He was ordered to pay compensation of £150 to Mr Lomax and £500 to Mrs Thompson. He was also excluded from the Witton Inn for 12 months.
The court heard a toilet window had been smashed by the group of which Brindle was a member and they were asked to leave. Brindle kept returning and the third time he was asked he lunged at the landlord.
