Concern is growing for the welfare of a Blackburn man, who was reported missing from the Hunters Bar area of Sheffield on Wednesday.
Leam Burfield, 23, was last seen at around 11am that day at an address in Hunters Bar.
Since then, extensive enquiries are being conducted in a bid to find him and now South Yorkshire Police are appealing to the public for their assistance.
It is thought that Mr Burfield, who is said to be vulnerable, could be making his way back to Blackburn.
He is described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall and of a stocky build.
He has short cropped dark hair, may be wearing glasses and was last seen wearing a black three-quarter length, padded jacket and brown walking boots.
He was carrying a dark, laptop-sized rucksack with a red tag.
Anyone who knows of Mr Burfield’s whereabouts should call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 970 of 26 March 2014.
