LANCASHIRE’S police and crime commissioner has attend a student officer attestation ceremony to officially welcome new police officers to the constabulary.
Clive Grunshaw said he was committed to supporting all officers and staff to be they best they can be.
He said: “I wish all the new recruits the best of luck for the future.
“The vital role Volunteers and Special Constables play within Lancashire Constabulary cannot be underestimated.
“Communities have told me they want to be more involved in policing and I am proud to be part of this programme, which is offering local people the chance to make a real difference.
“I have met several of our special constables and volunteers, and their dedication, passion and enthusiasm is always clear to see.”
