COMMUNITIES in East Lancashire have less than a week left to apply for up to £25,000 of funding.
The Better Together scheme aims to support projects and initiatives that can make a real difference to the area and the lives of its residents.
Chris McElligott, head of marketing at Together Mutual Insurance, said: “Since the campaign launched three weeks ago, some fantastic projects have entered.
“We have been delighted to see the response so far and it is apparent that people across Lancashire are keen to make their community better together. This is a brand new campaign and we want to remind the public we are completely open to ideas. Entries close tomorrow. A shortlist will then be announced and the public will be able to vote online for the winner.
Entrants need to submit a 200-word description of the project and how it will contribute to the community, along with two or three high resolution supporting images. For further details and to enter visit www.togetherinsurance.co.uk/better
