‘THE prospects for many young people are grim’.
That was the message from Hyndburn MP Graham Jones as he accused the government of ‘shrinking’ the apprenticeship programme.
The Labour whip said: “With Britain facing a cost-of-living crisis we need to grow the apprenticeship programme – but instead the Tory-led government is shrinking it.
“Under David Cameron, the number of apprenticeships for young people has gone down. David Cameron says things are getting better, but for many young people the prospects are grim.”
