EIGHT out of ten people in the North West are ‘self-confessed hoarders’, according to a survey by the British Heart Foundation.
The charity said residents stash away an average of 31 unwanted household items, worth £524, leaving their spare rooms blocked up.
It is urging people to have a clear out this spring and donate their unwanted items using the charity’s free collection service.
