A ‘Curiosity Shop’ is now open in Blackburn town centre.
The unique shop showcases and sells the work of Great Harwood artist Nicola Hebson, whose stuffed animals have proved popular among locals and the art world alike.
Nicola, 22, has been helped by the Blackburn is Open scheme to open the shop in King William Street.
It is full of Nicola’s ethical taxidermy, art, jewellery and other oddities, and she says that visiting it will be like ‘walking into her brain’.
Excited Nicola said: “I hope to attract people from all walks of life and all corners of the globe. The shop will be a work in progress and I hope for it to get more magical as time goes on.”
