HUMAN resources chief Kevin Moynes said he is striving to help staff at the Royal Blackburn and Burnley General hospitals feel ‘valued and engaged’ in their roles.

Mr Moynes, interim director of human resources at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, added: “We appreciate it has been a difficult year for all our staff but we are confident that things are improving at the trust.

He added: “It is very important to us that staff see the changes we are making.

“We want to ensure that they feel valued, engaged and eager to contribute to the success of the organisation.”
