CLASSICAL singer Katherine Jenkins has announced she will perform an outdoor concert at Hoghton Tower on Saturday, July 5.

She will be supported by regular collaborator Anthony Inglis as well as the National Symphony Orchestra. The Welsh singer will perform a selection of favourite classical hits for the open-air audience.

Katherine is widely acclaimed, and has appeared in concert around the world, including for British troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. She has also sung at sporting events, on television shows and in support of many charities, and her albums have twice received Classic Brit Awards.

She said: “I’m looking forward to my summer concerts in Lancashire, Swansea and Cheshire.”
