Belmont's not Blackburn. It is open countryside near Bolton which just happens to be part of the Blackburn with Darwen Council area.

Doesn't say a lot for the standards of Police driving then, does it?

(Sometimes, I just can't help myself, in taking these things literally.)

First it was strong winds, then it was rain, then we had a few snow flakes, now it's ice! Perhaps it's time we closed this town in the Winter, as it's becoming a positive nightmare for people with it's changeable, climate extremes.
What next, I wonder, bright sunshine?
