A PENSIONER has been taken to hospital after crashing his car into a fast food takeaway in Darwen this morning.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene outside Roosters in the A666 near Borough Road shortly after 11.22am.
The man, believed to be in his mid 70s has been taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital.
The driver’s Mazda Tamura has been recovered by police after the front of the car smashed into the shop front.
No pedestrians were hurt in the incident and it’s believed that the driver was alone in the car.
