TWO people have appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with racially-aggravated criminal damage after vehicles and property were sprayed with red paint. Ethan Robert Hesketh, 24, of Geoffrey Street, Preston, and Nicola Jade Riley, 22, of East Park Road, Blackburn, are jointly charged with damaging 10 vehicles and damaging the wall of a home in Shear Brow, Blackburn. Hesketh is also charged with damaging a sign and street furniture belonging to Abbeydale Vets. Both defendants pleaded not guilty to all charges and were sent on bail to stand trial at Preston Crown Court.
