A CAREERS event for high school pupils, featuring employers from across the East Lancashire area, is set to take place later this month.
Lancashire-wide employment specialists the Via Partnership has organised the event, aimed at 13 and 14-year-olds.
The careers event, at King George’s Hall, in Blackburn, in assocaition with Blackburn with Darwen Council, is designed to help Year 9 students with their education and training options for the future.
Students will be able to get a variety of academic and business advice as the event will be attended by local employers and education providers.
The event is over two days, starting on Tuesday January 21, from 9am to 2.30pm, with an evening session for parents from 4pm until 7pm.
On Wednesday, January 22, the event is on from 9am until 3pm.
