EAST Lancashire firms are hitting the festive note after producing their own Christmas videos.

Rossendale-based accountants Cassons have produced a tongue-in-cheek version of Bonnie Tyler’s 1980s hit ‘Holding Out For A Hero’ which has attracted more than 4,000 hits on youtube.

The video, starring partners and staff from each department of the firm, took two days to film and features vocals from Rawtenstall singing star Lareena Mitchell, who shot to fame as a contestant on BBC talent show ‘The Voice’.

And Rudolph dropped into Blackburn car dealership Bowker to join staff in a rendition of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, which has attracted 500 views online.

Bowker Motor Group marketing manager Amy Uphill said: "The Bowker Christmas video has become one of our most eagerly-anticipated videos of the year. Singing Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer was great fun and I think that comes through in the video."

Les Nutter, managing partner at Cassons, said: “Accountants tend to be stereotyped with a reputation for being a little dull but we think the reality can be quite different."
