THE council has urged local businesses to support its January Hyndburn Apprenticeship event.
A similar event, held in summer, was hailed a success by leader of the council, Coun Miles Parkinson, who called for even more businesses to sign up to offer apprenticeships.
Visitors to the event, on January 16 at Accrington Town Hall, will be able to find out more about apprenticeships direct from employers and training providers, seek expert advice and get one-to-one support.
