TODAY will see the continuation of the Blackburn is Open events.
The programme, lead by Blackburn-born designer Wayne Hemingway, hopes to rejuvenate Blackburn town centre by offering a wide variety of creative events.
From 4pm today there will be a marquee in the Town Hall Square in King William Street hosting performances from live bands and fashion students will be offering visitors a chance to spruce up their old clothes by screen printing them and making them glitzy and glamorous for Christmas.
There will also be a lantern-making workshop, an affordable art market of handmade goods, street food from Big Kahuna and a late night exhibition in Blackburn Museum showing local textiles and a drama performance.
