A BLACKBURN man is still in  a coma after being kicked in the head and body.


Suhail Dinsi, was attacked while walking to his car after visiting the barbers in Shear Brow.


The 31-year-old, of Pleckgate Road, was taken to Royal Preston Hospital after being set upon by two men on Friday.


Doctors put him in a drug-induced coma to allow swelling around his head to go down.


His condition was yesterday described as ‘stable’.


Police are appealing for any witnesses to the attack to come forward.


The incident was only stopped when two passers-by tried to help Mr Dinsi.


The victim, who is a regular customer at the Kutting Edge barbers, was leaving the shop around 6.50pm when the attack happened.

Two men, aged 39 and 20, both from Blackburn, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.

They were bailed until January 29.
