DARWEN Local History Society will turn back the clock when they meet on Monday, a week earlier than normal, at Bridge Street Sports and Social Club.
The meeting will take the form of a Christmas party of the 1930s, 40s and 50s.
There will be a small display of games and crafts and pictures to help jog the memory of those who were young at that time.
Party games, a quiz and plenty of reminiscing, as well as some light refreshments will be on offer, and new and old members are welcome.
Instead of an admission charge, guests are asked to bring a small Christmas wrapped gift, worth no more than £2, which will be placed in Santa’s sack to be handed out again at the end of the evening.
