REGISTRATION numbers of cars creating a hazard to children at Sacred Heart RC Primary School, in Church, are to be passed to police.
The move comes after parents reported ‘near misses’ of youngsters who were almost knocked down to staff at the school.
The Bradshaw Row school is being supported by police community liaison officers, who have been patrolling Wesley Street and Tanpits Road during the morning rush.
A spokesman for the school said in a newsletter to parents: “Please think where and how you park when dropping off and collecting your child.
“We do not want any accidents.”
