A SENIOR pharmacist will talk about the anticoagulant service at Airedale Hospital at a free event today.
The talk, by Emily Smith, will include information on the service and possible future developments.
It will be held in the Lecture Theatre, part of the Education Centre, between 10.30 and 11.45am.
Anticoagulants are used to treat and prevent blood clots that may occur in blood vessels.
Blood clotting in an artery or vein could eventually lead to serious problems such as a stroke or heart attack.
Everyone is welcome to attend and places are free, however you need to book.
