Police warn Blackburn residents over 'bargain' iPads

POLICE are warning people in Blackburn to be vigilant after receiving several reports of a man in a car falsely offering laptops, iPads and mobile phones for sale. Since the beginning of July, police have received several reports of a man driving round Blackburn in either a green Volkswagen Passat or a red people carrier approaching people and offering for sale laptops, iPads and mobile phones.

Half a story again. No description of offender, vague descriptions of two different vehicles, no real details of what offense has been committed. Are they taking money without delivering goods? Taking people's details and fleecing them? Trying to entice people into their car?
