SEVENTY business leaders have been given the tools to boost their profits and improve their work-life balance at a growth workshop hosted by Accrington-based Mayes Accountants.

Held at Stanley House Hotel, and in partnership with HSBC, the event introduced a revolutionary framework, Business One Page Plan, which delivers structured growth, along with higher revenues and profits.

However, delegates were told it would only happen if they changed their habits and moved out of their comfort zone.

Chairman of Mayes Accountants Andrew Botham said: “As people, we are habit-driven and feel comfortable doing what we have always done.

“But the business world moves quickly and if your business is standing still, you’re dropping behind the crowd.

“Growth strategies and actions don’t have to be hugely time-consuming or complex, and the Business One Page Plan brings simplicity right to the core of the plans and aspirations you have for your business.”

Businesses involved in the Business One Page Plan scheme have seen an average net profit increase of 92.7 per cent.
