GRAHAM Jones, MP for Haslingden and Hyndburn, has laid out Labour’s plans to help struggling families, small businesses and young unemployed people should they get elected in 2015.
Following last month’s Labour party conference, the backbencher has summarised how his party will ease the financial strain many households are suffering should they regain power from the coalition.
He said: “Labour’s policy announcements under Ed Miliband are coming thick and fast.
“Backing small businesses by cutting small business rates in 2015 and a freeze on them again in 2016.
“We will support working parents by expanding free childcare for three and four-year-olds from 15 to 25 hours per week for working parents, paid for by an £800m rise in the bank levy."
