East Lancs Railway ghost train returns for Hallowe'en
6:07pm Thursday 17th October 2013 in News
EAST Lancashire Railway’s frightfully popular Hallowe’en Ghost Train will be returning this year.
Prepare yourself for spooky surprises, gifts and prizes on the steam-powered journey through haunted tunnels and darkened stations.
There will be a Hallowe’en barbecue, a colourful cast of funny friendly monsters, and the chance to make your own monster mate at the creepy Craft Workshops at Bury Transport Museum.
The train will journey from Bury Bolton Street Station to Rawtenstall and back, and every child will receive a goody bag or soft toy during the journey.
Trains will run at 5.30pm and 8.30pm on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October, and 6pm and 8pm on Thursday, October 31.
Tickets cost £12 for adults, £4 for children aged 3 and over, and under 3s go free.
