MARIE Curie Cancer Care is inviting youth groups, nurseries, and primary schools in Lancashire to sign up for its ‘Mini Pots of Care’ scheme.
But they are advised to be quick as there are only two weeks left to register.
The Mini Pots are a free creative, and educational activity for three to 11-year- olds, with children receiving a pot and daffodil bulb to plant in the autumn.
Then in spring, the charity will hold a fundraising day when all the daffodils will be in bloom.
Since the scheme first began in 2005, 21,600 schools and organisations have taken part, managing to raise £3.5million for Marie Curie nurses.
To register your school, or group, call 0845 052 4184 or visit www.mariecurie. org.uk/minipotsofcare The deadline is October 4.
