Firefighters were called out after a pot of cooking caught fire in Chessington yesterday, June 28.
Crews from Surbiton and Esher went to Hook Road at about 4pm and nobody was injured.
Green watch manager from Surbiton fire station Mike Dowden said: "Residents were in the house and they alerted us. There was minimal damage."
