GOLD and silver jewellery was stolen from a house during the middle of the day in Hazlemere.
Between 10.40am and 2.15pm on Thursday burglars broke into a house in Inkerman Drive by forcing open a back ground floor window.
They stole gold and silver jewellery once inside.
Acting Sergeant James Fergusson of the Neighbourhood team said: "This burglary was carried out in broad daylight in a residential street.
"We take burglary very seriously, and will be conducting enquiries in the area this afternoon. If you saw anything suspicious in the area at this time, then we would like to hear from you".
