A DARWEN art student has been accepted on to a coveted Oxford university course.
As reported in the Lancashire Telegraph last March, Khushna Sulaman-Butt produced a work of art chosen by Blackburn wallpaper firm Graham & Brown to be turned into wall-covering art.
The 17-year-old Darwen Aldridge Community Academy student, of Limes Avenue, will now go to Ruskin College in Oxford to study for her art degree, realising a long-held ambition.
On her Twitter page, Khushna paid tribute to DACA.
She tweeted: “A huge thanks to the amazing art teachers for all the support throughout school.
“All our team effort has paid off. Love you guys.”
