POLICE who executed a drugs search warrant at a Darwen address found £600 worth of amphetamine, cannabis and diazepam.
Magistrates heard the amphetamine was of an unusually high purity.
Enrico Mazzafiore said that was because he was a diabetic and could not cut the drug with glucose.
Mazzafiore, 49, of Green View, Darwen, admitted possessing all three drugs and was committed on bail to Preston Crown Court for sentencing.
