David Young
The body of missing Blackburn man David Young has been found in the River Ribble.
Mr Young, known as ‘Youngy’ to his friends, was last seen alive on October 17 after visiting the Co-op on Livesey Branch Road at around 10.30pm.
His body was discovered in the River Ribble at Preston on Wednesday.
Lancashire Police says a post mortem examination has confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
Detective Inspector Mark Winstanley said “This is a tragic set of circumstances and this is the news that I’m sure David’s family have been dreading. Our thoughts are with the family and we will continue to provide them support through this difficult time.”

How can it be said there is no suspicious circumstances,,polic
e need to find out how he got to preston/who was he with ,and it is all very very suspicious,... first andy oniel,age 42,then melvyn ashe both deaths in the canal , and now david youngs body in the river ribble,in the space of 5 weeks?... .Im sorry to say but i think these deaths are linked and its something the police need to be looking into,its just not adding up!!!!
andy and david both go missing within 2/3 days of each other ,they knew each other as well i think??????????....m
y thoughts and prayers go out to both familys xxx

It may not be that surprising that in future news about this tragedy he was found nearer to Walton le dale as this is where the river that runs through Mill Hill and Pleasington finally joins the Ribble. With all the rain we've had these past weeks all rivers are full and fast flowing. IMO this might alleviate the puzzle of how the poor guy was found where he was. R.I.P

But agree with Fspiders on thoughts of how David could have possibly ended up near Preston. Best wait for the inquest results, and maybe they will throw some light onto what happened. However, it has to be said that under the circumstances of how, and where he was found, it may prove very difficult to find out what exactly happened.

youngys clothes were obviously removed because he put up more of a struggle than andy. (dna evidence)
andy couldnt swim if i remember rightly.
andy was put in that canal. he didnt go in of his own accord. no way.
