THE sister of a man who died a year ago today has raised almost £2,000 in his memory.
Paul Nixon died from a sarcoma tumour in his leg, just two months after being diagnosed.
His sister, Leah, decided to raise money for Sarcoma UK, a charity that raises awareness of the rare form of cancer.
Earlier this year, Miss Nixon, 23, took part in a sponsored skydive for the charity.
Mum Lynn said: “Leah has finally got all the money in for her skydive and raised a total of £1,881, almost double her target. We’re very proud of her and so thankful to everyone who sponsored her in memory of Paul.”
