BLACKBURN with Darwen Council has announced that Lower Eccleshill Road will be closed overnight for two nights, from November 20, due to roadworks.
The Lower Darwen route will see a number of improvements, including the bridge being widened, and the installation of a footpath to improve safety.
It will be closed from 7pm until 7am on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 20 and 21. This could be extended to the Thursday if weather conditions delay work. Traffic will be diverted to Hollins Grove Street, Blackburn Road (A666), Earcroft Way, and Paul Rink Way.
