This is indicative of the type of society we are living in now. There is no conscience, no morality, no respect, no pride. What kind of life has this low life thug led? What role models does he have in his life? Probably none. And what does New Labour do about it? They have no constructive plans. The police offer token support. Bring our soldiers home from Iraq and other places and get them patrolling the streets of England! Bring back national services and build more courts and prisons and have much tougher sentences. This is the only way it's going to get any better. But of course this falls on blind eyes to Mr Gordon Brown whose blinkered focus on the economy and fighting terror completely ignores what's going on int he streets of England.

Unfortunately,you do not come under that criteria,as you are nothing more than a 'finger-pointer' who makes alarmingly sweeping statements about 'ALL' folk from Shadsworth being criminals and (in your words...)'SCUM'.
Everyone in the area is appalled by this vile attack,and I can guarantee that as soon as the identity of this attacker is revealed,his life will not be worth living around the Shadsworth area.
