The Only Way Is Essex has proved it is nothing to be sniffed at after spawning its own “rich list” of six multi-millionaires.

A minted group of 20-somethings have found their fortune since shooting to fame on the ITV reality show, proving that there is plenty of money to be made from the endless rounds of partying, arguments and showmances.

Topping the list, compiled by The Sun, is Amy Childs, 24, who took part in Channel 4′s winter sports contest The Jump after leaving the programme and has made an estimated £5 million from fashion ranges, her own brand of eyelashes, perfume and tanning products.

Hot on her heels, according to the newspaper, is Joey Essex, 24, valued at £4.5 million, who has become so influential that he even bagged himself TV interviews with party leaders ahead of the General Election. He is another former Jump contestant, having won the show this year, has had various TV shows of his own and runs a clothing store.

Joey’s ex Sam Faiers, 24, was a Celebrity Big Brother contestant and a former glamour model, but these days has been raking in an estimated £4.2 million as the brains behind a celebrity training website.

Lucy Mecklenburgh, 23, is the youngest on the list but is still valued at a very healthy £2.5 million thanks to her two Essex boutiques and an online health and fitness business.
