Jennifer Aniston has revealed she would like to try her hand at directing a feature-length movie – with fiance Justin Theroux in the starring role.
Jennifer’s ex-husband Brad Pitt has just been directed by his new wife Angelina Jolie in her new film By The Sea.
Jennifer has directed two short films, but is currently “waiting for the right material” before she commits to making another.
“It takes up a good year of your life,” she revealed. “And I’ve had such wonderful acting opportunities.”
But she added: “I would direct Justin. And vice versa. I take good direction and so does he. He would love it.”
The 46-year-old former Friends star has impressed critics in new drama Cake, with her performance as a woman living with chronic pain.
But the rom-com queen revealed she would like to try a superhero movie next.
“I always joke that I really want to play a superhero,” she said. “I do! I think those films are such fun. There are a lot of stories I want to tell and a lot of characters I want to play.I want to go back to theatre, not Shakespeare though.”
Cake was released in cinemas yesterday.
