Britain’s Got Talent star Simon Cowell has shown off a new skill of his own as he gives fellow show judge David Walliams a makeover by painting his face.

The pair showed that although they may squabble on screen, they have no problem with making up as they got in the mood for this year’s Comic Relief efforts.

They were showing off this year’s campaign for the charity’s Red Nose Day which involves encouraging the public to make their faces look funny.

Strictly Come Dancing co-host Tess Daly is also getting in on the action by letting husband Vernon Kaye go wild with the slap, while Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes allowed her hubbie Marvin Humes show off his artistic side,

David said: “I feel absolutely beautiful. Simon’s been hard at it all evening and he’s even chosen colours that complement my eyes – I suspect this isn’t the first time Simon has picked up a make-up brush.“

The charity wants people to paint their faces, wear a red nose or have comic hairdo to make them look funny on Friday March 13.

This year there will be nine different red noses – from Sainsbury’s, Oxfam and rednoseday.com – and there will be a collection of seven designer t-shirts from the likes of Anya Hindmarch, Matthew Williamson and Diane von Furstenberg from TK Maxx. There will also be a Red Nose Day onesie.

This year’s fundraising will as ever be accompanied by a live TV broadcast on BBC One which will this year come from the London Palladium theatre.
