Davina McCall has revealed how she almost gave up on her fabulous figure after gaining over half a stone.
The 47-year-old TV presenter and mother-of-three has just brought out her sixth fitness DVD in which she shows people how to get rock hard abs just like hers.
But she revealed to OK! magazine how she almost gave up on her healthy lifestyle after gaining weight left her feeling down.
Davina confessed: “I put on about eight or nine pounds and got quite despondent and down about it. I nearly went up a size and thought, sod it, I’m going to get size 14 trousers!”
In March 2014, the former Big Brother presenter had spoken publicly how she and her husband 15 years Matthew Robertson had been going through a rough patch.
But Davina revealed they have now moved past it.
She said: “Stuff is really good on a professional level and also at home. After the Sport Relief Challenge was difficult for me; I wanted to tell people that Matthew and I had been struggling because he had been dealing with his father’s illness, but of course I couldn’t talk about that because his dad wasn’t in the public eye.
“What I love is that it doesn’t matter what issues Matthew and I have, the very root of our relationship is that I am going to grow old with that man. We are meant to be together.”
